If money was not a factor what would you build and why?
I’ve always wanted a Southern style beach home somewhere in NC on the Outer Banks. It would have a large wrap around porch with rockers and swings, a huge open kitchen, light blue beadboard ceilings and soft grays and tans in drift wood color. Every room would have an amazing viewsof the ocean. I was born in Hawaii and am a Pisces so that ongoing desire to be near blue water is always calling. There is nothing like a day at the beach or evening watching the sun set over the ocean. If I’m not here you’ll find me there!
What do you work toward in your free time?
I feel as a working woman, running a woman owned business, and mother of 2 active children that I constantly work towards balance and defining priorities. I think the multi-tasking woman is a necessity in today’s society but also a burden. As I’ve moved through life every year I feel it is okay to re-evaluate and to slow down to stop every so often. As the old adage says “Stop and smell the roses”. I find myself enjoying life’s precious moments more clearly and relishing those times with family and friends and clients. I am very grateful for what life has given me and excited for the adventures that continue to present themselves over the years!
What’s the most interesting thing about you we would not learn from your resume?
Well…glad you asked! I love to sing and dance. Growing up involved in ballet, tap, piano lessons, church choir, and then onto high school competitive singing, oh and a rock band too, I love to sing and dance! Whether is in the car singing Disney with kids or 80’s at a karaoke night or even on the weekends in the kitchen to the player piano music fills my heart and my space!
