Whats in a Name

It was with much thought and consideration when Nested was chosen as the name for our company. We discovered a common thread as clients expressed a desire for spaces that represented their design style and lifestyle needs; a true “nest” that they could call their own. We appreciate and respect our clients and commit ourselves to their vision and design while helping bring their dream project to life.

We positioned our woman owned company to connect with our clients in a fashion that makes the building process easier, providing a white glove, boutique service within the building industry. We approach each project with expertise and dedication to complete on schedule and with uncompromising quality. Nested helps simplify the process by utilizing a smartphone app to allow for communication, selections, drawings, schedules and bill pay one touch away.

Our process focuses on communication and developing a relationship with our clients throughout their process from design to finishing touches. One of our greatest strengths is our focus on the planning phase of your project to eliminate unknowns, avoid surprises throughout the project and make sure everyone is aligned from concept to completion.

Design Meet and Greet Meeting:

This is a free consultation visit in which a member of our team comes to the site of your project to discuss our design services further and get an initial idea of your vision and design style. At this meeting we will work to gain alignment with our company and your timeline, budget and project as a whole. Let’s meet!

Assessment Meeting:

We offer assessment meetings at no charge. This free meeting is a chance to meet with our Sales/Estimating team in which they come to the site and review every aspect of the job with you and your designer. At this meeting, we will capture your entire scope, assess any structural/technical aspects of the job, code requirements for completion and confirm feasibility of your design. Our team will then go offsite and generate the entire scope and bid for your project so you know the full cost of your project before we even begin.

Pre-Construction Meeting:

At this meeting we will bring your project manager out to the site to meet with you (the homeowner), the designer and our sales team. This is a chance for us to align our entire operations team to your specific project and vision. Our project manager will review how the build process works, communication, our online Buildertrend app and begin the construction phase of the project.

The Build Process:

The build process is focused on communication and alignment throughout your job. A remodel or new construction project can be stressful and overwhelming at times but our extensive team is here to make things run as smoothly as possible. Your project manager as well as our online system will keep you informed throughout the entire process - on Buildertrend you will be able to see your calendar by week noting each objective, photos of the job throughout the process, drawings, contract scope, technical specs etc. Our team will walk you through the construction process from demo to final touches and punchlist.
